Ballincollig & District Vintage and Classic Car Club ‘s Gougane Barra Run and Memorial Service will take place on Sunday the 12th of April.
Starting at Applegreen Service Station, Classis, Ovens, (beside Ballincollig Rugby Club) @ 12 noon. Travelling to Gougane Barra where club member Fr Paul O’Donoghue will celebrate Mass in St. Finbarr’s Oratory for deceased members of vintage clubs including family members. Mass will take place at 1:30pm
From Gougane Barra the run will return to Macroom via the Top of Coom and to the Riverside Hotel for optional Dinner and presentation of prizes at 3pm.
Entry Fee is €10 per car.
Optional meal €10 per person / €5 per child.
The event is open to all Vintage Enthusiasts and the 20 year rule will apply – Vehicles up to 1995 will be accepted.
Anyone who wishes to have names mentioned during the Mass should send name to the club chairman in advance.
Note: This year’s annual show is on July 24th-26th at the usual venue, Ballincollig Shopping Centre.
