Join Audi Waterford in a Guinness World Record attempt.

We’re hoping to gather at least 500 Audi vehicles together to beat the current world record of 282 Audi vehicles in a convoy. The record attempt will benefit four charities, Solas Centre, Temple Street Children’s Hospital, Waterford Hospice and Respect; we’re hoping to raise as much money as possible to really give each charity a boost. Registration for the event will begin at 10.30am at Audi Waterford, Butlerstown Roundabout, Cork Road in County Waterford. This form must be presented upon registration with all donations being collected on the day. The drive will commence at 11.30am and will take in a 9km route around Waterford. A 5.5km section of the route, which you can see on the map below, will break the Guinness World Record. The route then finishes at the Audi Waterford dealership where entertainment wil be provided. Directional signage will clearly mark out the route on the day.

Terms and conditions: All drivers must hold a full driving license. All vehicles participating in this world record attempt must be moving, it is not acceptable merely to park them in a row. The minimum distance of the parade must be 3.2 km. (2 miles) from the starting point to the finish (all vehicles must cross the start line and drive the length of the route to the finish line). If a vehicle cannot complete the route, that vehicle must be deducted from the total count. There must be no significant ‘gaps’ in the flow of vehicles. The vehicles in the parade may not be more than two vehicle-lengths apart during the parade. All participates of this event must adhere to the rules of the road
