Dear Fellow Car Enthusiasts
Blarrney Vintage Club are hosting The Blarney Vintage & Classic Car Festival at The Square Blarney from Saturday 30th of July to Monday August 1st (Bank Holiday Weekend). The festival is opening on the Saturday with a local car run around the beautiful Lee Valley,sign in at 11am, run starts at 12pm sharp with all cars returning to the square to start off a static car show which will last until Monday evening. We have a lot of activities planned for the weekend including live music various side shows,a competition for the Best Dressed Lady on Sunday, a Farmers Market on Sunday, a Free Barbeque to all participants on the Sunday Evening with a prize giving ceremony.Entry is 20 Euros per vehicle and a concession will apply for people with more than one vehicle, for the entry fee you will receieve free meal vouchers for the Sunday and Monday for local restaurants, free pass for the barbeque and a commerative plaque. The picturesque village is an ideal setting for this event with its close proximity to the grounds of the famous Blarney Castle. This is a charitable event in support of The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland. We attach a list of local B & B’s who are offering a special rate and we have 24 hr security arranged for the Saturday & Sunday Nights for all participants vehicles.
