Castledermot Vintage Club is a club for those in the South Kildare and Carlow area with an appreciation for all things vintage, particularly vintage vehicle enthusiasts . The club currently has over 100 members.
Castledermot Vintage Club hosts an annual Castledermot Vintage Day on the last Sunday of September each year. 2011 will see the fifth anniversary of the show, and will take place on the Corcoran farm at Gorteengrone (on R448 Castledermot-Carlow Road) on Sunday, 25th September 2011.
Every year, the club selects a number of charities, to whom the proceeds of Castledermot Vintage Day are presented. Last year, €15,000 was raised for charity, with St. Vincent de Paul, the Irish Wheelchair Association, and Castledermot Youth Café Project (under Castledermot Development Committee) each receiving €5,000.
