Preparations are now well underway for the Inistioge Vintage Rally which will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend. It’s always great day out for all the family in the charming village along the banks of the river Nore.
On Saturday 4th August, the Slievenamon Vintage Club Road Run will travel along the route from Mullinahone to Inistioge, arrival in Inistioge at 6.00pm.
On Sunday 5th August, for the vintage enthusiast, there are Vintage Cars, Tractors, Motorbikes, Stationary Engines and Farm Implement Displays. Entertain the family and enjoy Live Music & Dancing, Puppet Show, Clowns, Face Painting, the ever popular Dog Show, Irelands Largest Bouncy Slide, Quality Stalls, The Rally Farmers Market and all kinds of Novelty Events.
This year the event will be officially opened by Queen of the Land – Bernie Woods.
Proceeds donated to local charities and organisations. This year the Carlow – Kilkenny Home Care Team has again been selected as primary charity. There will also be a special award, the Leslie Rothwell Trophy which will be presented to the Best Vintage Exhibit.
